Job Summary:
As a Carpenter with 2 to 3 years of experience specializing in the manufacturing of custom precast components, you will play a crucial role in a company that has been dedicated to designing and producing the finest quality precast elements for the past ten years. Responsibilities:
- Interpret detailed blueprints and design specifications for custom precast components.
- Lay out and mark cutting and assembly lines on materials based on project requirements.
- Construct custom precast components, such as panels, columns, and architectural features.
- Assemble forms for pouring concrete and ensure accurate placement of reinforcing materials.
- Design and build formwork for creating unique and intricate precast shapes.
- Ensure formwork is precise and can accommodate the specific requirements of each project.
- Pour and finish concrete into precast forms with attention to texture and appearance.
- Utilize various techniques for finishing, such as polishing or applying architectural details.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure components meet design specifications.
- Identify and address any defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Work closely with the design team to bring conceptual ideas into practical and aesthetically pleasing precast components.
- Select appropriate materials for precast components, considering both design and durability requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure the availability of quality materials.
- Use and maintain carpentry tools, as well as specialized precast manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in the manufacturing environment.
- Promote and maintain a culture of safety among team members.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Carpenter, preferably with a focus on custom precast component manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and design specifications.
- Knowledge of formwork design, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with various materials used in precast manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute creatively to the design process.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of maintaining a safe work environment.
