Duties
– Perform auto body repairs and refinishing on vehicles
– Repair and replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
– Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces
– Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
– Mix paint colors and apply paint to vehicles using spray guns or brushes
– Blend paint to match existing vehicle color
– Inspect repaired vehicles for quality and ensure they meet safety standards
– Keep work area clean and organized
Experience
– Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role preferred
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair techniques
– Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in auto body repair
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
– Familiarity with dealership procedures and standards is a plus
