Job Description:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience in wood finishing techniques. Your role will involve enhancing the appearance and durability of our wooden products through the application of coatings and finishes.

Responsibilities:

• Apply wood finishes, stains, and coatings to various wooden surfaces.
• Prepare and sand surfaces for finishing, ensuring a smooth and even texture.
• Use brushes, sprayers, or other tools to apply varnishes, lacquers, and sealants.
• Select appropriate finishing materials based on project requirements.
• Inspect and repair wood surfaces as needed before applying finishes.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling and disposing of finishing materials.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain and clean finishing tools and equipment.
• Adhere to design specifications and client preferences for color and texture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wood finishing processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in wood coating or a related role.
• Proficiency in applying various wood coatings and using different application methods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
• Ability to match and reproduce colors accurately.

• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working in various positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
